Published Fri, 21 Feb 2025 21:42:51 GMT

Lynx forward Napheesa Collier will make her third WNBA all-star appearance later this month in Las Vegas after the fifth-year forward was voted by the league’s coaches into the reserve pool, the WNBA announced Saturday. The all-star selection is Collier’s third, making her the seventh member in the organization to achieve such a feat.Collier, 26, is averaging career highs in points (22.5), rebounds (7.7) and steals (1.7). She was second in the WNBA in scoring entering Saturday’s late tilt in Phoenix. Those numbers are especially gaudy considering Collier’s relatively slow start to the summer. After a rocky first five outings — all Lynx losses — Collier has averaged 25.3 points and 8.6 rebounds a game over her last 10 contests. Minnesota is 6-4 in that stretch. Collier is playing at an MVP level to boost what looked to be a rebuilding roster into legitimate postseason contention. And she’s doing it while remaining efficient.
